Discover three new water tourism maps and 4 videos featuring routes along water bodies in Aukštaitija

The Directorate of Aukštaitija Protected Areas has developed three unique water tourism maps presenting routes along the Nemunėlis, Šventoji, and Virinta rivers; lake tourism routes in Gražutė Regional Park; and water tourism opportunities in Aukštaitija (Northern Lithuania). The maps are informative, engaging, and attractive for all age groups. They highlight stopping points at rest areas as well as the most popular natural and cultural sites to visit.

The Nemunėlis river route crosses the Latvia-Lithuania border, allowing travelers to experience the natural and cultural landscapes of both countries in a single journey.

The Šventoji river route in the Anykščiai district is calm and peaceful, offering the opportunity to enjoy the Anykščiai wood (Anykščių šilelis), the Tree crown trail, and to see Lithuania’s largest boulder, “Puntukas.”

The Gražutė Regional Park routes include lakes Luodis, Asavas, and Antalieptė, offering beautiful scenery, calm river passages, and unique nature experiences.

The maps were produced in Lithuanian, and on the second page of the map, most visited places were presented in Lithuanian/English, in both digital and printed formats.
