Creative workshop/seminar “Secrets of Natural Cosmetics with Bee Products”

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the natural cosmetics development process and the application of bee-derived products in modern formulations. A live demonstration will showcase how a cooling balm with beeswax is created — from the initial concept and ingredient selection to the final product. This will provide a comprehensive and practical insight into the stages of cosmetic development and the principles underlying a high-quality natural product.

Participants will be able to examine and evaluate the raw materials used, becoming familiar with their textures, aromas, and properties. The session will also present practical insights into the functions of bee products — beeswax, honey, and propolis — in cosmetics, their effects on the skin, and the key formulation aspects that ensure product stability, efficacy, and a pleasant user experience.

The seminar / creative workshop will be led by Jurgita Barbaravičienė — founder of the bajuLAB brand, cosmetic chemist, and advocate of sustainable cosmetics. Her experience and professional expertise will allow participants not only to observe the development process but also to understand practical decisions, the logic behind ingredient selection, and the principles of responsible formulation.

This event is designed for anyone interested in natural cosmetics, the origin and properties of ingredients, and a deeper understanding of how thoughtfully designed, high-quality, and sustainable cosmetic products are created.
